Some new award categories have been added for 2010, including the new Young Designer of the Year category, as well as new awards for the Bridal Exporter of the Year and the Bridal Shoe Collection of the Year.

Categories voted for by brides & grooms

The finalists in the Best Bridal Retailer , Best Groomswear Retailer and Best British Bridal Designer categories were decide by votes cast via the www.nationalweddingshow.co.uk and the www.youandyourwedding.co.uk websites .

Consumers also voted for the Wedding Dress of the Year Award. The fashion editors of the top bridal consumer magazines had chosen their favourite dresses from the finalists of the 2009 bridalwear manufacturer category. These six dresses were displayed at the National Wedding Shows in London and Birmingham where brides were given the chance to vote for their favourite dress and pick our winner for the 2010 award.
